Common questions

How co-hiring with vetted recruiters works on NexCoHire.

How do you vet the recruiters working my roles?

Every recruiter is screened before they can work a single role — we verify their recruiting background, confirm they source and place candidates for employer clients, and block bench-sales and candidate-representation models. Conduct is monitored over time, and recruiters who don't act in good faith are removed. The people working your roles are verified professionals, not unknown third parties.

What keeps submissions high-quality instead of a flood of resumes?

Our team reviews every candidate submission before it reaches you, and each recruiter can submit at most two candidates per role. You receive a short, screened shortlist — each one already checked against your requirements, with pre-screening notes and answers attached.

What does it cost — and is there any upfront fee?

There's no cost to post a role or receive candidates. You pay a placement fee only when you hire; the recruiter keeps the large majority and the platform takes a small commission. Subscriptions are optional — they add features and higher limits, not a better commission rate. You'll see the exact terms before anything is binding.

When and how do recruiters get paid?

Placements are paid in protected milestone installments on a set schedule once the platform receives the employer's payment — so the recruiter who did the work is paid reliably and on time, and funds move through the platform rather than being at risk between parties. Full payment terms are shown in-app.

What happens if a hire doesn't work out?

Every placement is backed by a replacement guarantee for 90 days from the start date. If the hire leaves or isn't the right fit in that window, the recruiter replaces them — it's a replacement guarantee, not a scramble. (Replacement rather than a cash refund.)

How is split-fee pay handled between recruiters?

On split jobs the fee is divided 50/50 between the recruiter who posted the role and the one who filled it — fixed and non-negotiable — with the platform taking a small commission from each side. Everyone sees the terms up front, and payouts run on the same protected schedule.

How is my company's confidentiality protected?

Your company stays confidential to recruiters until you approve a submission, and hiring-manager contact details are never exposed to them. Candidate contact details stay hidden from you until you approve, too — so both sides are protected through the process.

Can recruiters take my candidates or contact me off-platform?

No. Communication stays on the platform during a placement, and sharing direct contact details is blocked by the system, not just discouraged. Attempts are logged. This protects candidate privacy, your hiring process, and keeps every party accountable.

What is co-hiring, and how is it different from using an agency?

Co-hiring means filling a role with the help of a vetted network of recruiters working alongside your team — instead of signing and managing agencies one at a time. You get broader reach through one trusted, accountable process, and you never have to vet each recruiter yourself.
